Reng Gang

Reng Gang was born in 1979 in Inner Mongolia, China. He graduated in Inner Mongolia Art and Design Institution in 2000 and becomes an art teacher afterwards. His artwork “Earth” won him the first award in the Inner Mongolia emerging artist Exhibition. His oil painting “Morning” was selected to exhibit in United Exhibition of China and Taiwan. Now he has enjoyed a successful career as a freelance artist specializing in landscape and still life.

He said Art, for him, is a way of life, confidence, peace, freedom, movement, contours and colors. Wandering on the canvas, who is in control? The painting controls the artist or the artist controls the painting. Something one’s unable to say, but feel. His artwork is a mixture of original purity and intense rhythm. He uses his paintings to express the unity between life and outside. His sensitivity of color, succinct nature, elegant contours, free but precise style, make his paintings really an enjoyment and refreshment.
