"An Emerging Artist for a new generation of Collectors"

Born in 1970, Harvey (non de plume - Chen Pan) grew up in Beijing, China. Harvey began to cultivate his creative mind at a very early age. He became fluent with his drawing skills and graduated in 2000 with honors from the Sichuan Fine Arts Academy.

In 2003, Harvey participated in an advanced course study of oil painting at the Guangzhou Fine Arts Academy.

He credits this discipline of oil painting teaching to the style, technique and form in his paintings. His oriental influences are evident in the all-embracing balance of connected imagery. The dept of his paintings evoke a feeling of peace: an uninterrupted moment kept for inner thoughts.
