K. Pierre
“I paint the places that are a part of my life”
K. Pierre was born in 1965 in Guangdong TaiShan. He graduated from the Department of Oil painting in Guangzhou Fine Arts Institute, subsequently graduating from the Graduate School of Wall painting in the Central Fine Arts Institute. He has immersed himself in the world of artists and creations, sharing ideas and styles. For years he has enjoyed traveling the world with his wife who also paints along side his easel.
The paintings of K. Pierre have a very distinctive style and feeling. The mystical interpretations create romantic and picturesque moments. Pierre has established himself as a contemporary master. Mood, thought and light transform into solace with colors, texture and form. His transitional landscapes become a conversation of color, form and space. There is no noise, just quiet rhythm of nature meeting the artist. Similar to the thoughts of Cezanne, Pierre paints a feeling of nature and not the likenesses of nature. He is also inspired by the classical softness in the works of Jean Baptiste Corot.
Pierre participates in Fine Art shows, Exhibitions, serves on the committee for the Arts League and is published in several Art Magazines such as “Artistic Condition”, “Guangdong Artists” and “Artistic Circles” among others. Presently he is the professor in the Guangdong Literary Arts.
His original paintings are represented in the United States and abroad and have been exhibited in London, Tokyo, Atlanta and other major cities.
