About Paul Robinson, Inc.
As an importer of fine oil paintings, Paul Robinson has made it his business to know what makes a work of art valuable to his clients.
In 1970, Paul Robinson left Birmingham, Alabama and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, starting Paul Robinson, Inc. The relocation proved to be a wise decision. The company started with a southeastern focus, eventually becoming a nationwide business.
Robinson decided he would promote traditional European art to his core clients, high-end design firms, art galleries, and furniture retailers. When he began exhibiting at trade shows, the business really expanded and developed.
Although Paul Robinson, Inc. carries American artists, the majority are expatriates who live in the United States. Approximately 80 percent of the stocked oil paintings are in a traditional vein, the other 20 percent represent a mix of styles, including abstract.
During the past 38 years, Robinson has met many interesting people. Every year he travels to Europe to find new artists, subjects, and styles. As a result, many famous artists such as Malva, Christian and Gerhard Nesvadba and W. Eddie now lend their names to his more than 400 artist inventory.
Today, Paul Robinson, Inc. maintains one of the largest oil painting inventories in the world. Through a fleet of gallery trucks, road representatives and market showrooms, we display over 3000 paintings per day nationwide. Paul Robinson calls it a “collection of notable, international artists not available anywhere else.
